What's Notion For?

Notion is useful for creating documents and pages. You can use it for everything from simple notes to complex project plans. I find it useful for personal uses — like collecting links of interest — as well as professional purposes — like mapping out upcoming work initiatives.

**Here's a list of Notion keyboard 👩🏾‍💻 shortcuts.**

A few of my favorite keyboard shortcuts:

  1. "/ " to open up the shortcut menu for adding any Notion item to a page
  2. "#" for Heading 1 "##" for Heading 2 or use Command-Option-1, Command-Option-2 etc
  3. "> " to create a toggle list "* " or "- " to create a bullet list or "1 " to create a numbered list
  4. "/turn into... " at the beginning or end of any block to change its color, text style, etc.
