MD2Notion is committed to protecting your privacy.
Data collection: MD2Notion does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to third-party servers.
Notion access token: Your Notion OAuth access token is stored exclusively in chrome.storage.local on your device. It is never synced to your Chrome profile and is only sent to api.notion.com for authorized API calls.
Markdown content: Your Markdown files are processed entirely within your browser and sent directly to the Notion API. No intermediary server sees or stores your content.
OAuth handling: A Cloudflare Worker (md.allinmoon.eu.org) is used solely for the Notion OAuth token exchange handshake. It does not receive, process, or log your Markdown content or Notion data.
Telemetry: MD2Notion contains zero analytics, zero crash reporters, and zero third-party tracking scripts.
Local storage: Import history, page tree cache, and link indexes reside in chrome.storage.local. You can clear them from the extension's History or Connection panels, or by uninstalling the extension.
Data retention: All local data is deleted immediately upon extension uninstallation.
