Hi there π
I spend most of my time and energy and resources thinking up new ways to solve problems, and then bringing them to life. The trickier the problem, the better!
I would do this for free (and I do) but I'm also lucky enough to get paid for it π Most of my paid/contract work has been in and around innovation teams in large (revenues >$1bn) Australian businesses, but I also work with startups, government, universities, and research organisations.
I'm interested in three big questions:

1οΈβ£ How can we use learnings from HCD, behavioural economics, and social psychology to improve the products we design and their impact on society?

2οΈβ£ How can large, traditional (usually non-tech) businesses achieve the transformational shifts required to compete successfully in a world reshaped by digital technologies?

3οΈβ£ How can we do business in a way thatβs better for people, and for the planet? (This is really one question rather than two)

Of course my life is not only about these three questions! I'm also a son, a brother, a friend, a reader, a lifelong learner, an occasional creative writer, an optimist, a (mainly pop and rock) music lover, a sucker for self-improvement, a beginner meditator, and an enthusiastic lifelong student of that most inexhaustible and endlessly complex of topics: people π.
This page is a little window into the fun!
