Pros:

• Still seems very early. Their Twitter was started in 2020, and they have a post saying they launched in October 2021. Although I can find tweets about them dating back to March 2021.
• I don’t believe they are open source (no self hosting, how is that decentralized?)
• Their UI/UX is not better than Bonsai’s

Cons:

• They are already established as the leader (although they are still mostly unknown with 1,200 Twitter followers)
• They’ve already raised more than $1M in funding
• They seem to have a custom NFT purchasing integration, rather than using a 3rd party (Unlock Protocol)

I’m going to assume Creaton has been in development since 2020, and most of that time probably went into building something similar to Unlock Protocol. Which could explain why I’m ahead on the UI/UX, because I spent the majority of time working on the front end details.

If I can launch in the next month or two, I don’t think I will have to live in their shadow necessarily.

Plus, Bonsai has a plan to become much more than just Patreon for web3. This is just our starting point.
