Every network needs a robust monitoring solution to give operators observability over the various components. This allows operators to gain real-time insights that are instrumental in diagnosing problems before they potentially rise to situations that actually create outages.
We at Insight are currently building two projects related to network monitoring. The first is a status page used primarily as a communication tool for consumers of network, ie the users and developers of DApps. It is meant to be a high level overview of incidents or service degredations. To feed the status page more in-depth statistics, customized alarms, and visualizations, we are also working on a node monitoring and alerting project using best in class tools to scrape metrics from across the network.
