Automating the deployment of critical infrastructure is standard operating procedure for any professional network. We at Insight are leading the charge in building node deployment and configuration tools. Our tooling allows node operators from every level of experience to easily spin up secure and reliable infrastructure on multiple different cloud providers through a single easy use command line interface.
This project is currently broken into two pieces. First is Node Deployment Automation which is focused on the provisioning of the servers and networks on various cloud providers. The next is our Node Configuration which is focused on the actual configuration of software on the nodes themselves. These two projects, while focused initially on building rock solid P-Rep node deployments, have laid the ground work to build DApp related infrastructure from the APIs to query the blockchain to reference implementations to deploy both on-chain and off-chain DApp components.
