Goal

The Classroom is an online platform that connects students with quality extramural tutors. My goal as a UX writer was to create a landing page copy that would clearly and effectively communicate the platform's value proposition to its target audience.

Problem

The need for quality education makes it important for students to seek extramural classes. Sometimes, the best teachers are either in other states or schools making it difficult for students to access them.

Product goals (solutions)

The Classroom's primary goal is to make quality extramural classes accessible to all students, regardless of their location or the availability of local teachers. The platform aims to achieve this by connecting students with qualified tutors who can provide personalized and effective education.

My goal was to develop a landing page copy that clearly communicated The Classroom's value proposition and benefits to its target audience. The copy had to emphasize the platform's unique selling points, such as its convenience, affordability, and quality of instruction.

Approach

To achieve my goal, I used a user-focused approach that involved the following steps:

Step 1: User Research

The first step was to conduct extensive user research to understand the needs and pain points of The Classroom's target audience. I used a variety of research methods, including surveys, interviews, and user testing.

Based on my research findings, I developed user personas that represented The Classroom's target audience. These personas highlighted the challenges, goals, and possible solutions to those challenges that the target audience faced.

For this project, the target audience is students looking to improve their knowledge beyond what is being taught in schools, and parents looking to help their kids excel academically.
