We’re looking for a world-class animator to bring our mascot, Albus, to life!
At Sanctum, we help people get rich the right way. We have been around since 2021 and secure over $1B in assets. Today, we’re building the world's most delightful wealth app, where we make it a joy for people to learn about and hold good assets for the long term.
Meet Albus:
Albus is our mascot and the emotional heart of the app. Right now he’s very cute, but he only has one idle loop right now.
We want him to feel truly alive. We’re looking for someone to build out a full state machine covering idle variations, curiosity, celebration, sleep, reactions; the kind of expressive range that makes users feel delighted every time they open the app. We're inspired by the level of craft in Duolingo's character work and want Albus to reach that standard (see https://blog.duolingo.com/world-character-visemes/)
Strong Rive experience is essential. Beyond Rive, we are looking for someone with a genuine feel and love for character animation.
This starts with building out Albus's core state machine. Long-term, we see this as an ongoing relationship — Albus will emote, earn new outfits, and eventually travel to locations (animated backgrounds) around the world.
We’re looking for a contractor to work for us on a weekly basis for now with a view toward transitioning to full-time employment.
