Lodgepole Pine Tree

The tree stands strong as the centre piece of the logo.

As the official tree of Alberta, it represents locality but also how deep-rooted the organisation is  in Edmonton, through its decades of service.

The tree also represents the comfort and shade it offers to those who need it and the community at large benefiting from the fruits of the organisations labour.

Mountains

Allah (swt) says in Surah al-Hijr:

And the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance. (15:19)

Besides being a visual indication of Alberta, the mountains are representative of how deep-rooted the organisation is and the balance they strive to create for their community members.

Sunrise (Divine Gradient)

As Islamic Family provides services and relief for the vulnerable in their community, the sunrise is a symbol of hope of a new day after a dark period.

The sunny hue is a reflection of the warmth that is provided for those in need.
