To get alerts from Icy Tools on Telegram, do the following:

  1. Create a new Telegram group and add "Icy Alerts Bot" and "RawDataBot" to it. Make sure it is this RawDataBot account: https://t.me/raw_data_bot (Can search for raw_data_bot). This is the official Icy Alerts Bot: https://t.me/icy_alerts_bot

  2. Copy the group id from the message that Raw Data Bot gives. If a group ID is not provided, then its possible you might have added the wrong Raw Data Bot

  3. Enter this id where the Create Alert modal asks for your telegram chat id. This should include the - if its included (i.e -717004646 for the group ID mentioned above)

  4. Remove RawDataBot from the group
