Role

Veri is looking for a backend developer to join their product team and take the lead in creating internal digital efficiencies at Veri. You will be in charge of understanding the various integrations and systems that enable smooth day-to-day operations from shipping & customer success to marketing.

Main tasks of this role include:

• Working closely with internal stakeholders (e.g. head of growth) to capture their requirements and convert them into technical solutions
• Build integrations with the 3rd party services and create internal dashboards and tools
• Proactively capture requirements and define the internal tooling roadmap that make our internal stakeholders lives easier

Initially you’ll be leading internal tooling initiatives while working closely with the product team. Down the road we envision an independent internal tooling team where you will have opportunities to grow as a people/tech leader (only if that’s your thing).

What do we expect?

• You're fluent with a high-level programming language (we use Node.JS & Typescript)
• Familiar with building web applications & using REST APIs / webhooks
• You have built backend services from scratch and been involved in deploying software in the cloud
• Familiarity with any of the following a plus: Infrastructure as Code, Frontend development (React, Angular or other), databases, ETL
