About the role

You will be responsible for the technical delivery of our fronted platform. You will work closely with the technical team to design and implement the most suitable solutions. You will help define technical standards and culture from the very beginnings of the company. You will cover not only the development but also oversee its operational deployment.

We embrace DevOps values and want to enable our teams to build and ship with a minimal amount of friction. You will be instrumental in the growth and scaling of the Engineering function in Huddle.

About you

We're looking for experienced JavaScript (ES5 & ES6) frontend engineers with deep knowledge of designing, developing frontend applications. Knowledge of TypeScript is a plus. You will contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, from product inception to deployment, production operations including bug triage, hot-fixing, and interacting with customers.

Basic Qualifications

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

• Experience with JavaScript (ES5 and ES6) and HTML.
• Able to produce clean, documented, maintainable and tested code according to requirement specifications and best practices.
• Experience with CSS and CSS preprocessors (example SASS)
• Experience with Vue 3 and Composition API.
• Experience with frontend state management (Vuex or alternatives).
• Comfort working within an agile development cycle and exposure to:
  • Git and versioning software
  • Build systems (npm, yarn) and common build patterns.
  • Jenkins or similar CI/CD.

Additional Qualifications

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

• Solid experience in writing tests and providing high confidence in the quality of your deliveries.
• Has experience in providing code review and constructive feedback.
• Has solid understanding of JavaScript module and build systems.
• Has experience in modularising the code and deliver reusable and customisable components and libraries.
• Pays attention to both functional and non functional requirements.
