The software provides you with a vehicle damage map on which you can easily map the damages of a vehicle. The damages mapped can be shown in the rental agreement. This articles shows gives you an overview on the basics of our damage map.
Where can I find the damage map?
The map is located in two locations. They are Step 7 (Pickup) and Step 9 (Return) of the reservation process. The picture below is an example of the damage map.
How to add damages on the map?
Option 1 – Drop a circle
Click on the affected area, and a circle will be automatically marked. Next, you may add the details of the damage on the modal that will appear.
Option 2 – Draw a line
Click on the affected area and drag out a line in the direction of your choice. A will be marked on the map. This is helpful for scratches or dents. Next, you may add the details of the damage on the modal that will appear.
Option 3 – Draw an area
Click on the affected area, drag in one direction, and then switch directions. This will allow you to easily draw any type of area on the map. This can be specially helpful for bigger dents or affected zones of the vehicle. Next, you may add the details of the damage on the modal that will appear.
