HoBeei is a Social business using tech to reduce inequality and waste. We aim to make it easy for people to Freecycle by enabling people to share their preowned items with each other. By doing so, our goal is to improve savings by encouraging reuse and responsible consumption which benefits the environment and promotes social responsibility. Our mission is to achieve resource redistribution in the most fun and exciting way which will encourage as many people to reduce hoarding and freecycle items as soon as they no longer have use for them.

We are in need of awesome volunteers who will contribute to HoBeei's impact! Are you creative and dynamic? Are you a natural giver? • 🐝Pollinators

  At HoBeei our mission is to pollinate resources from where they are no longer needed to those who need them.

  Pollinators are to help us source for people with unwanted items. You can either help us collect items from people you know and we get them from you or you can link us up with such people who have their items already prepared for collection! At the moment we only do collection in Lagos and Abuja

• 🎉Events Team

  Last year HoBeei did our launch at the Food Expo Abuja and at the She Leads Africa event in Lagos. We need people who know the happening events that HoBeei can be a part of so we can grow the freecycle revolution. Coordinators get to help us source for upcoming events that HoBeei can appear. They also get to be part of the team that will attend to visitors that come to our stand at the events. Volunteers will also help plan Hobeei events where we engage with the community to Freecycle together and perform other interesting ecofriendly activities.

• 👏Community Service Teams

  We intend doing monthly or quarterly community service projects. Community service teams are to think of creative ways we can serve society especially with regards to R3 initiatives(Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), Upcycling and Freecycling.

• 💪Usher Bees

  Usher Bees onboard friends and family to use HoBeei so more people are into freecycling and Reuse. Note everybody can be a worker Bee. These can be your friends, family members, colleagues and even your oga! You have your own referral code so you get to earn buzzes as you do so!

• 🤝Sponsorship & Partnership Team

  Functions are as follows:

  1. Suggest ways HoBeei can collaborate with other companies to further our cause
  2. Establish relations with companies that will be willing to sponsor freecycle events and projects that involve waste management
  3. Brainstorm and source for companies that have items to Freecycle. Usually there are companies/organizations that have equipment and furniture they no longer use but keep them rotting away in stores and warehouses. Such items would be beneficial to the public, and so you are also to help convince such companies that Hobeei can help freecycle their items.

• 🕵🏼App Testers

  Function of App testers are as follows

  1. Critically test our newest features on our freecycle app before they hit the market!
  2. Help us determine if our solution and features really align with our mission of helping people improve savings and encouraging Reuse.
  3. Suggest additional features to improve our solution

• 📸 Media Team

  Members of the media team are involved in:

  1. Taking pictures of items to be uploaded on the platform for people to obtain.
  2. Making documentaries of beneficiaries impacted by the freecycled items to be shared on social media to inspire others
  3. Taking pictures and recording at events
  4. Design graphic design materials such as fliers and posts for social media use

  HoBeei will provide the funds for whatever is needed to get the job executed properly
