In Xpad CAD, when you choose a line and Stakeout

You get an option:

• Reference Line
• Stakeout object

Choosing either of these gives you the following screens:

Reference Line

This does not mean 'Reference Line' as understood in usual surveying sense or as used other parts of the Xpad software.

It merely means: Stake out the line, and it gives the following screen

Stakeout Object

This gives a different screen to the Reference Line screen, see below, and the values on the screen have a different meaning.

There are numbers of different values available on the object setting out screen in XPAD Ultimate.
