Purpose

Create a new GIS Feature in X-PAD so it can be attached to codes in the Codes library.

Prerequisites

• Job setup completed and a job is open.

Steps (X-PAD)

1. Open Points/Measurements/Codes.
2. Go to the Codes tab.
3. Select Tools.
4. Select GIS Manager.

Create a new GIS Feature

1. In GIS Features Manager, select + Add.
2. Enter the Feature name.
3. Select + Add (under Attributes) to create one or more attributes.

Add an attribute

1. Enter the Attribute name.
2. Select the drop-down next to Type and choose the answer type (e.g., Text, Integer number, Real number, Yes/No, Title).
3. (Optional) Enter a Default value.
4. (Optional) Create a predefined list of answers:
   • Select Edit list.
   • Add the allowed values.
