Practical guide for Task Management in Notion based on pure Getting Things Done method

Inspired by Modular Productivity and freedom of creation content in Notion I questioned myself like many others - "Can it replace a Task Management App?"

Elements of Task Management system

In the heart of the Task Management system it's cornerstone - TASK. It's something doable - short description of action (better starting with verb).

Good Example: "Send NY gift card to Mom"

It's something that you can describe in few words and basically do and complete.

Bad Example: "MBA diploma"

Than we need to define minimum list of TASK properties which will allow us to:

• Understand TASK status
• Position TASK in time (due date)
• Position TASK in some Context and/or Project (in order to effectively sort and find them later)
