What is this document?

This is a guide for Looper employees, to explain our Senior Product Manager role, and how you can help interview and find the right person.

Interview format

We are a remote-first company, all interviews will be conducted online. We default to video chat unless a candidate is unable to do so. This entire process should take no longer than 2-3 weeks.

Applications

Applications go to [email protected], they should include a CV and covering letter. We've setup a CRM to track applications through the process.

Step 1 - Phone screen

Someone (usually Alex) will confirm a few details about the role. This is a quick step to filter out people who have misunderstood the job requirements, not to evaluate people.

Step 2 - Initial interview

We expect 60-80% of applicants to reach this stage.

This is a 30-45 minute video call, with two members of the Looper team. Interviewers will take notes and discuss after the call, evaluating on the following criteria:

Step 3 - Shortlist and project task

We expect 4-8 candidates to be shortlisted.

After our first interviews, we'll discuss as a team and build a shortlist. Those people will receive a brief project task. This can be completed at their leisure, and should take no longer than 1-2 hours.
