To collectively create a preventive care movement globally, Happily Ever After is on a mission to activate Care Spaces in as many communities as possible.
The act of care can be as simple as listening, being kind, showing gratitude, or motivating one another to cultivate healthier habits. Yet, these small acts of care are often overshadowed by ‘busy-ness’.
The simple presence of an intentional space to care for one another works wonders… it acts as a gentle nudge and continuous reminder to fellow collaborators to participate in reciprocal altruism.
Truly caring for another is more than “putting yourself in someone’s shoes” because it takes great courage, is responsibility bearing and needs mutual trust. Interestingly, genuine care is about respecting self (taking care of oneself first), and in turn, allowing others to do so.
