Activity Inventory

  1. TASK: Take note of what you do in normal week. This might feel tedious. Document what you do! Write down.
    1. Try to list everything you do. Don’t think about it a lot, just start writing.
  2. TIER: Determine how much the company needs this from you to be successful.
  3. EFFECTIVENESS RATING: How effective are you at completing this task?
  4. EISENHOWER-MATRIX: Categorize it based on the urgent and important matrix.
  5. WHO CAN YOU INVOLVE/DELETE TO: List out the people who you want to get involved to take over partial or full responsibility.
  6. DELEGATION LEVEL: How much can you actually delegate to this person?
  7. CREATE YOUR PLAN
    1. Create a plan where you document the tasks that you’re going to delegate based on their priority, then schedule meetings with those people to onboard and train them to the task.
    2. Schedule out the items that are recurring or are important, but not urgent from your Eisenhower matrix and make sure you plan time to work on those.
    3. Create a not-to-do list that includes all the things you really need to delete from your schedule and tasks. Review it weekly to keep these items top of mind.
