Seasonal Deep Clean

Process Overview

Process Description	Seasonal deep cleaning procedure performed twice per year — once in April (spring reset) and once in September (autumn reset).
Purpose	Reset the cabin after a major season, remove long-term buildup that turnover cleaning does not address, and prepare the property for the next high-occupancy period.
Scope	Deeper cleaning than a standard turnover. Includes descaling, drain cleaning, high-surface dust removal, exterior refresh, and full damage inspection.
Frequency	Twice per year: April and September.
Material / Tools Needed	Descaler, scrub brushes (non-abrasive only), extra cloths, mop/vacuum, clean water, outdoor wash tools, Guesty app access.

Guiding Principles

Always open the Guesty checklist before you start. Read through every task first so you know what to expect. Do not rely on memory.
This is not a turnover clean. The seasonal deep clean covers areas skipped during regular turnover. Take your time.
Use non-abrasive products only on glass, shower screens, taps, and sensitive surfaces. If in doubt, use a soft cloth.
Do not attempt repairs. If you find damage, mold, or anything broken — stop, take a photo, and report it using the Damage & Maintenance Report Form. Do not fix it yourself.
Check off tasks in Guesty as you go. Do not mark the overall task complete until every single item is done and any issues have been reported.
April and September are different. Some steps have specific notes for each season. These are marked APR or SEP throughout. Read them carefully.
