Contributor and Fellow Offboarding Process

The Manager will work with HR to lead the offboarding process.

  1. Thank the contributor / fellow

    “Thank you for your time spent with Harmony. We appreciate every contribution you have made with your time, knowledge, and personality. You have left a lasting impression.”

  2. Clearly communicate the departure

    “Your contract with Harmony is not being renewed effective (end date).”

  3. Ensure a knowledge transfer

  4. Recover Harmony assets (e.g. computer, documents, code, etc.)

  5. Remove systems access

  6. Exit interview: have them fill out

  7. Update organizational charts

  8. Payment - make sure final pay invoice is submitted

  9. Stay in touch

Employee Offboard Process

  1. Employee and manager to discuss that contract will not be extended
    1. Employee sends resignation letter with termination date, date of final paycheck to [email protected]
    2. HR will organize their file
      1. Employment agreement
      2. Resignation
    3. HR will remove notion edit access on applicable pages
    4. HR will conduct exit interview
    5. If employee is resigning via their own will, manager announces their departure to the team
