- Assess product portfolio and impact
- Engage with former clients, check-in and document project statuses, find innovative ways to tell our products' stories while also identifying org blind spots
- Analyze and report product adoption patterns; consolidate findings and present to the organization
- Formulate strategic recommendations to the director team based on assessments
- Lead branding/marketing; increase accessibility and visibility of Hack4Impact
- Pitch Hack4Impact to students of diverse backgrounds and nonprofits from different social good sectors
- Innovate new methods for engaging diverse student talent
- Spearhead all social media initiatives and campaigns (Medium, Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
- Create PR materials for recruitment and any nonprofit/student outreach efforts
- Lead a committee of team members willing to help out with external efforts
- Leading meetings and taking notes
- Delegating tasks to members in an organized manner
- Reporting back to directors at weekly meetings
- Reach out to alumni when necessary
- Being comfortable talking to past project leads regarding the projects they've handed off when preparing for Impact Assessment calls with past partners
- Including alumni in the newsletter and other initiatives within the organization
- Contacting alumni for Member Spotlights on our socials

- Have a pulse on (or at least initiative to learn more and discover) what's going on in Champaign + UIUC programs/departments
- Engineering departments, Art and Design School, Siebel Center for Design, etc
- Extremely proactive
- Self-driven; doing whatever it takes to bring an idea to life and helping out other directors and leads
- Not afraid to execute in the face of ambiguity
- Involves all the necessary stakeholders to assess products/org as a whole
- Effectively divide initiatives into smaller tasks [and delegate them to a team]
- Empathy and strong communication skills
- Asks lots of (intentional) questions
- Speaking up when you need help, confused, or overwhelmed
- Strong writing skills (documenting thoughts, processes, proposals, organizing reference documents)
- Ability to understand and synthesize multiple perspectives when presenting the org and our stories
- Plus: Ability to present information via engaging visuals for sponsor materials, social media, etc.
- Plus: Experience with graphic design programs/tools (e.g. Figma, Adobe Suite, Whimsical) + portfolio/design samples
