Privacy is at the heart of how we've built Peeky from the start. You’re trusting us with your information when you use our services, and we work hard to protect your information and put you in control. This policy applies for Peeky’s browser extension, and covers what information we collect and why, and how you can manage or delete your information. In short, the title and URL of pages that you track in Peeky will be stored locally on your browser only, and never leave your computer. After installation, your local installation of Peeky runs a 'content script' (e.g. https://developer.chrome.com/extensions/content_scripts ) on each page opened. If it's a page tracked in Peeky, this script stores the title, and URL of the page.

You may request details of the personal information that we hold. We can assist you in accessing personal information in your local storage as this is only accessible by you. We can share any information stored in Peeky servers in CSV format or any other easily readable machine format.
You may want to remove all personal information with Peeky. This can be done by reaching out to us via email at [email protected]. We will subsequently follow your request and provide transparent updates.
To remove personal information stored by Peeky locally on your browser, simply uninstall Peeky. This clears the local storage of Peeky. You may also request that we transfer any of your personal information that Peeky stores to another third party (data portability).
In all cases, we will respond within a reasonable time, usually less than a month. If your request is refused, we will give you a written notice that sets out the reasons for refusal (except to the extent it would be unreasonable to do so) and how to complain about the decision. This will not incur any expenses on your behalf.
We are committed to the protection of your privacy and your personal information. If you believe that we have breached the policy or an article of the GDPR and wish to make a complaint, please contact us via email, and provide us with full details of the alleged breach. We will promptly investigate your complaint and respond to you, in writing, usually within 1 month, setting out the outcome of our investigation and the steps we will take to deal with your complaint. If you are unhappy with the outcome, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Information Commissioner who can order the payment of compensation by us in certain circumstances.
From time to time, we send out materials about updates made to Peeky, recent or upcoming launches and other promotional materials. To unsubscribe from our email database or opt-out of communications (including marketing communications), please contact us at [email protected].
We will never rent nor sell your personal information to anyone. In order to provide our services, we may disclose information to:
