Our story

When our founder Julius started working on Graswald, he wanted to sell 3D models, so his mother wouldn't force him to do "real" work. The result of that became the first scattering tool for Blender and set a new bar for realistic 3D vegetation. You can checkout the whole development story here.

With our new office in Hannover, we have assembled a team of highly motivated developers, artists and marketing people with a background in 3D. We want to make it easier to create the most realistic 3D nature. Ever. This includes G Scatter — a new scattering system for Blender and new assets that are currently in production.

Life at Graswald

Our core team is working from Hanover, one of the greenest cities of Europe. With the largest urban city forest (1,600 acres) in Germany, we feel right at home!

Our office is located close to the city center in an old sports complex. We share it with one of Hannover's biggest Marketing Agencies, which means there are always lots of creative people around.
