Overview

Your template should;

1. Have a clear use-case that is distinguished from other apps already listed on the template store.
2. Be visually rich with believable dummy data that tells a story and gives a professional feeling
3. Work entirely within Glide (using Glide Tables only, and no sheet formulas, scripts, or external integrations with Zapier, APIs, etc)
4. Be simple to understand but still powerful and useful.

Main Things

Research

Research the apps currently in the store, particularly those Made By Glide.

Research existing software. For example – if you wanted to make a Project Management app, then look at project management tools like Monday.com, Asana & Todoist.

Tell a visual story

The first screen on your app needs to look amazing & tell the story in a flash. Take a look at our Apps for Work 👇 . The first screen on each of these apps tells a visually rich story and it's clear in a second or two what the app is about. It's also enticing to new users.
