Feedback Round:
- Mateo: listed/unlisted ideas, want to make things resilient to protect against influx of airdrop seekers
- Lauren: dapp looks junky/lacking credibility when too many crappy projects
- Mitch: likes the listed/unlisted things, otherwise it's like the "craigslist of philanthropy"
- Danibelle: anyone can create a project on giveth, but we have listed/unlisted as a layer to ensure higher quality/higher standards
- Ashley: need to make things protected against airdrop seekers, projects listed/unlisted... can apply for verification
- Mohammad: want to get an update/learn about requirements
- Amin: should first talk about criteria/parameters and then dev on the criteria/date... need an idea on how we can pull data from outside (twitter/instagram) in order to ensure better projects
- MoeNick: likes gofundme, binance.charity
Quality Score:
- very susceptible to attacks - project created in 1 day, became #1 project by accumulating $300 or 1 xdai donations and a lot of likes
- need to make quality score more resilient
- should have structure to prevent projects to show up immediately on front page
- scoring system - originally done by James very quickly
- every project gets by default 40 points, and increases by actions:
- adds email, name, information
- longer project description
- adds update
- number of likes
- number of donations
- Listed/unlisted layer will keep the application cleaner, but will be done at first in a centralized way
- What are other ways that people curate projects?
