ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Mentorship & Guidance: Serve as a mentor and guide for the Business Development team, sharing expertise, best practices, and insights to foster individual growth and team cohesion.
- Sales Strategy: Collaborate with individual contributors, including SDRs, Account Managers, DevRel, and other workstreams to develop and implement effective sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Channel Management: Identify, develop, and manage channel partnerships to expand Gitcoin's reach and influence within the decentralized ecosystem.
- Collaboration with GM: Work closely with the GM: Integrator to align the Business Development team's goals and activities with the broader objectives of the GSD Workstream.
- Budgeting: Set budgets for the Business Development group, collaborating with the GM: Integrator to finalize and gain approval from the wider organization.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders within and outside Gitcoin to foster strategic partnerships and alliances.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in a sales or business development role, with a track record of achieving sales targets and fostering strategic partnerships.
- Strong understanding of the decentralized ecosystem, its challenges, and opportunities.
- Demonstrable competency in sales strategy development and channel management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to navigate complex negotiations and foster mutually beneficial partnerships.
