Clicking on the Load Button opens the SEM’s Patch Browser. Here you can select the patch that you want to audition and/or load into the instrument. It’s also possible to select Folders and Patches either via a mouse click or by using your keyboard’s arrow buttons.
Clicking on this opens the folder containing the SEM Patches. Simply name and save your Patch. All Patches are saved as .xml files, if you want to save in a format aligned with your DAW host, please use the DAW’s host Patch Management System.
Once the Patch Browser is open, you will see two tabs, each of which show the following:
This is the default tab when you open the Patch Browser and reveals two sections. The left section contains the Folders in which all the Patches are categorized. (e.g. Bass, Effects, Mono etc.)
Clicking on a Folder reveals the Patches within that Folder in the right section. Clicking on a patch will highlight it and load it into the SEM for you to audition.
Use this tab when you want to load Patches that you’ve created yourself.
Obviously, when saving you can also create your own folders to organise your Patches to
suit your workflow.
