We - Flo, Gesa, and Yuki - are a young, tech-first, and mission-driven team of engineers, data scientists, growth managers, designers, and researchers who studied at CDTM, LMU, TUM, and Oxford and worked in high-growth startups (Facebook, Alasco, Transferwise, etc.), sustainability & management consulting, as well as academia. We recently joined forces to tackle one of the most pressing issues the world is facing right now: Climate change and the death of European forests.
European forests are dying due to the consequences of climate change, namely droughts and beetle infestations. A potential way of fighting this is to adapt more sustainable forest management measures, which are however very costly.
But there is a way to financially reward forest owners for their adapted management measures: They can sell the carbon stored through their measures via the voluntary carbon market.
To facilitate this, the forest owners need to know how much carbon is stored in their forests now and how the stocks change over time.
We're looking for an ambitious, smart, and fun team that help us build and grow Pina's B2B ambitions. We need your help in growth hacking into customers and forest owners to understand their mindset and needs - and not only to sell their land or sell them certificates but also into conscious and sustainable citizens of our world.
