Principal Engineer – Robotics (USA)

The Principal Engineer – Robotics (USA) is a senior technical leader and hands-on contributor based in the USA (preferably Austin, TX area), focused exclusively on robotics. Reporting to the CTO, this role drives architecture, performance optimization of Peppermint OS, integration of SOTA CV models and LLMs to enhance robot intelligence, and scalability for very large fleets. We are seeking a US citizen or green card holder with 8–10+ years in robotics engineering, proven experience deploying/leading deployments of more than 1000 robots in production (commercial cleaning, logistics/AMRs, warehouse automation, etc.), and deep hands-on expertise in ROS/ROS2, SLAM, perception, navigation, embedded systems, and safety-critical robotics.
