At Orbit, we value the time and the effort you put into applying to one of our open positions (Careers & Jobs in Orbit ). We want to do our absolute best to make it as smooth as possible and above all, that you have a positive and enjoyable experience where you get some value out of it independently of the outcome.
Overall, we aim for no more than 3 interviews, try to avoid any take-home assignments, and take no more than 2 weeks (we will do our best to keep it to 1 week!) from application to a decision. We will keep you updated as you move through the process and will guide you through it.
Ultimately, we want this to be a conversation where we get to know you, you get to know us and we can both understand if we are a good fit for each other. We know that applying for a job is a very stressful experience (for us too!) and we want to make you feel as comfortable as possible.
At the end of the process, whether we decide to work together or not, we will always get back to you with feedback. We would be grateful if you share your feedback with us as well.
Here are the four different stages of the application process and the goals behind each:
Duration: 30 mins.
Goal: Touch base with each other. Have a short introduction to Orbit and our mission. Hear the basics from you about your experience and aspirations.
Who: Talent acquisition team.
Duration: 60 mins.
Goal: Go more in depth about Orbit and our culture. Hear questions you might have about our company or how we work. Assess if we are a good fit for each other culturally: interpersonal skills, ambitions, needs, background, past experiences, expectations, etc.
Who: Orbit team members.

Goal: Wrap things up, make you an offer, and/or share our feedback with you. We will also kindly ask that you share your feedback about the whole process with us.
