Introduction

More than 2,500,000 million pets go missing in the United States every year.

85M American households own pets - 15% of pet owners have had a pet go missing.

95% consider their pets to be family members - A runaway pet could be seriously injured or killed, leading to a heavy emotional and financial burden.

Missing pets often end up in shelters - Only 85% of missing pets are eventually recovered, some end up being adopted out or euthanized if not claimed.

Because of these limitations, the vast majority of pet owners still hope for the best - and resort to printing "lost pet" posters or sharing Facebook posts when their pet inevitably escapes.

This is the problem Huan solves.

Huan (named after a Tolkien character) will use a mobile game and simple pet wearables to connect 80 million pets to the metaverse - gamifying pet ownership, enabling owners to go on daily adventures with their dogs, earning virtual rewards and creating unique virtual experiences.

Our platform will turn pets into 3D characters in games, translating dog location and movement into in-game actions (imagine Pokemon Go with your dog), establishing a viral adoption model and a strong network effect designed to keep pets safe while keeping owners highly engaged.

Why hasn't anybody solved this problem so far?
