GAME TYPE

this is the type of game the host is setting up. right now we only have one game, so this should be locked

GAME NAME

a plain text field that is the name that will be tied to the game. this name shows up on the game list, and in the game waiting room.

by default the name is "BIGGEST BAG - <date of game>" but can be easily changed (see prototype).

character limit should be 80 characters, per this page.

BAG SIZE

a single select dropdown field that determines how many fish will count towards a participants score

• values are:
  • top 1 fish
  • top 2 fish
  • top 3 fish [default]
  • top 4 fish
  • top 5 fish

TARGET SPECIES

a single select dropdown field that determines what type of fish participants must catch. in this (game) TYPE catching other fish do not count towards your score.

• values are:
  • largemouth bass [default]
  • smallmouth bass
  • striped bass
  • flounder
  • other species
• the "other species" option does not allow the host to enter a manual name, rather it is just an indication that the host needs to communicate to the participants (inside the app, e.g. WAGER field, or outside the app)what type of fish they are going after—or maybe the fish species does not matter
