As we continue to expand our reach and impact, we are seeking an Account Executive (AE) who is ready to pioneer our sales efforts and play a key role in our growth journey.

Your Mission:
As the first AE at GAIA, you will focus on building and scaling our sales operations from the ground up. You will collaborate closely with the founders to construct a repeatable sales engine and with our Sales Development Representative (SDR) team. Your role includes iterating on our existing sales playbook and closing larger deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the founders to develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with GAIA's mission and market positioning.
- Direct Sales: Lead direct sales efforts from discovery through to negotiation and closure, ensuring a seamless and effective sales process.
- SDR Collaboration: Work closely with our SDR team to refine lead qualification processes, ensuring a steady flow of high-quality leads into the sales pipeline.
- Customer Success Alignment: Coordinate with the customer success team to ensure a smooth transition post-sale and support customer retention and expansion efforts.
- Market Feedback Loop: Serve as the voice of the customer within GAIA, providing feedback to the product and marketing teams to help shape product development and marketing strategies.
- Sales Pioneering: Set benchmarks and create scalable sales processes as GAIA's sales pioneer, paving the way for future sales team members.
- Performance Tracking: Utilize CRM and sales management tools to track sales activities and performance, ensuring targets are met and insights are leveraged to continuously optimize the sales process.
Your Profile:
- Proven Sales Experience: You have a solid track record in sales, preferably in the B2B SaaS sector, with at least 3-5 years of experience (including both SDR and AE roles).
- Hands-on Pioneer: Eager to be the driving force in establishing a sales department, with a hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in a startup environment.
- Strategic Thinker: Adept at developing sales strategies that drive growth, with a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem and legal tech market.
- Exceptional Communicator: Possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
- Driven by Results: Focused on achieving sales targets, with a data-driven approach to tracking performance and optimizing strategies.
- Team Collaborator: Able to work closely with SDRs, product, and marketing teams to create a cohesive sales effort.
