Baeond Quick Start Guide
This guide is intended to help you set up and play the physical prototype version of Baeond. The final digital version will take care of almost all of the bookkeeping detailed below.
For Tabletop Simulator files to help you play digitally with friends, download the attached zip file below for a Tabletop Simulator game save with the game in its start state.
You can find more detailed information in the Rules, or via links throughout the Guide.
What you Need
To play a game of the physical Baeond prototype, you need:
- 1 50-card Network Deck
- 2 Player Decks consisting of 10 Player Cards and 10 Talent Cards (Talent Cards are optional)
- If playing without the Suena and Zenith Starter Decks, 2 base Player Decks (without Talents) are included in the Starter Network Deck.
- 1 Game Board
- 15 Rift AE tokens
- Infinite Blank AE tokens
- Several dice/chits that can be used to track damage, shields, stat changes, etc.
Craft your Player Deck
If you choose to play with your own customized Player Deck, follow the instructions below. If you’re playing with the Player Decks included in the Starter Network Deck, skip this step.
- Using the Suena or Zenith Starter Deck, select 10 Player Cards and 10 Talent Cards as your starting deck. The Network Voucher card must be included in the 10 Player Cards.
- Set aside cards you didn’t choose.
