We're looking for a Compliance Officer who has a superb track record of acquiring licensing and implementing responsible monitoring practices. You will play a key role in establishing and maintaining the compliance standards that our customers, business partners, and regulators expect of us, owning the huge responsibility of acquiring our money transmitter (and other) licenses, interacting with regulators, and implementing best practices anti-money laundering efforts.
Defining the future of financial regulation with FinCEN, the SEC, and CFTC.
You'll work hand-in-hand with the regulators to help establish the norms of a new regulatory structure for an emerging and poorly-understood asset class: cryptocurrency, while driving our regulatory licensing process in the current environment.

You’ve applied for and received a money transmitter license or broker-dealer registration.
You have extensive experience with the careful and iterative process that is applying for a regulatory license. You have a keen sense of the difficulties to expect relating to helping regulators understand a new and unfamiliar product/industry vertical.
You’ve worked on a high-velocity team.
You understand how to scale the rapidly expanding compliance needs of a business, focusing on driving efficiency, without exceeding your operational budget.
