Forta is a real-time detection network for security & operational monitoring of blockchain activity.
Node operators play a key role in the security, reliability and growth of the network by operating the infrastructure that scans transactions and emits alerts. Scan nodes run the detection bots that Forta’s work assigner directs to them, against each block of transactions. When the bots detect a specific condition or event, the network emits an alert which is stored on IPFS.
Operating a scan node requires a minimum stake in the native FORT token. Rewards in FORT are distributed based on performance.
