Election Terms & Schedule

Council Members serve no term limits and elections are held after a seat becomes available. An opening occurs when a Council Member either resigns or gets voted out via proposal. The election will take place within two months of the seat becoming available.

Notice of Nominations & Elections

No less than fifteen days before the nominations, a notice of the nominations and elections will be communicated via the official Council Twitter and #dao-announcements Discord channel.

The notice will include:

• Seats that are to be filled
• Nomination information (dates, times, how to nominate, and where)
• Election information (dates, times, how to nominate, and where)

Making Nominations

All nominations will be submitted via type form document which will be distributed via the official Council Twitter and #dao-announcements Discord channel.

To nominate a candidate, one  must be a holder of a Forgotten Runes Token such as Wizard, Warrior, Soul, Pony, or Beast. Self-nominations are accepted.

Acceptance of Nomination

The nominee must accept the nomination in order to become an eligible candidate.

To accept, the nominee must make a public statement via twitter with the official Council X, formerly known as Twitter, tagged. The official Council X will then retweet, completing the acceptance ritual.

Forgotten Council Eligibility

To be a Council Member:

1. The candidate must be a holder of a Forgotten Runes Token such as Wizard, Warrior, Soul, Pony, or Beast.
