At Flam, creating a beautiful, functional design that contributes powerfully and seamlessly to user experience is critical. As we rapidly grow, we need to ensure that our design teams execute at scale with absolute perfection and impeccable quality.

As the VP of Design, you will lead the design team at Flam and set the design vision, strategy, workflow, and team structure to achieve world-class design status for the business. You will also enable streamlined collaboration among our designers and our product, marketing, and engineering teams at scale. To excel in this role, you must have an excellent understanding of how to scale both product design and marketing design functions.

We're seeking an exceptional design leader to build, manage and guide a team of talented multi-disciplinary designers in one of the fastest-growing tech startups of the nation to drive it towards becoming the best design team in the industry.

Shape up product direction and drive design-led projects

• Take part in ideation, planning and prioritisation of our products & features, keeping the short and long-term goals of the organisation in mind.
• Find out new directions that we can take in our quest to make 3D AR creation and consumption easy and accessible to all.
• Help to extend the existing design systems and build new ones.

Drive and improve the end-to-end UX design process

• Iterate upon and improve the design processes to introduce the best practices within the team. Bring the user to the centre of the process and encourage design decisions to be backed by user behaviour and data.
• Create frameworks and guidelines for the team to deliver better and faster.
• Articulate design decisions and communicate to the team and leadership.
