Hi there, we're Five Good Friends, and we're an approved aged care and registered NDIS service provider. We help our clients live vibrantly in their own homes by wrapping a care team around them and their families. Our software gently coordinates in the background so care teams can do their best work and our clients get exceptional outcomes.

Good people using friendly software is how we do care differently and why we're invited back into the homes of our clients over 17,000 times a month. We began five years ago in QLD and today we provide services in NSW, VIC, and SA too.

We're looking for our second Product Manager to join our Software Team for a flexible start in March or April. We are in an exciting phase of our organisation's growth as we are spinning off our software and philosophy of care into a stand-alone offering for other care businesses.

If you believe support for our loved ones needs to change, then please join us in creating a better, brighter, future!

About the job

You'll be working as a Product Manager on our software platform known as Lookout. You'll partner with the Head of Product and CTO to figure out what we should build, and equally, what we shouldn't. This job is broad so you'll have substantial influence over the direction of our product by doing research, tracking numbers, narrowing in on our best options, and turning them into compelling project pitches.

We maximise our impact by pacing our work into long, eight-week cycles focused on one project per team. Engineers and designers build from the pitches you wrote last cycle while you write pitches for the next. The pitches you'll write describe the opportunity and the outcome, not the how, so we lean on your empathy and insights to help us there. You'll draw insights by interviewing people, monitoring charts, embracing constraints, and finding ways to sustainably grow our revenue.

You'll be an advocate for our product and the underlying philosophy within and outside our company. You'll write blog posts, record demos, and take questions from a wide, cross section of people to educate and support them.
