Opportunity

At Sesh, we're taking on the massive opportunity that meetings present—so much time, energy, and resources are wasted, for millions of people, every single day.

We are transforming the content of meetings themselves (not just the calendaring or conferencing) with an entirely new kind of platform which will make meetings more inclusive, engaging, and productive.

Responsibilities

Work across the stack (frontend, backend) to deliver great products. Expertise in some areas and unfamiliarly in others is okay. You should be comfortable learning + adapting. Mostly you should enjoy writing code that creates great experiences.
Proactive and comfortable in a small startup environment. That means if something doesn't look right, fix it. If documentation would be helpful, add it. If a script would make this better, write it. We all own this together.
Passion for the product. Commitment to delivering a great product creates a special kind of team dynamic and a unique output. We all need to be invested in our mission, and care about how we're fulfilling that with a product.
Collaboration + communication. Let's be honest, in this industry (and almost all industries), it always comes down to the people. This is why "soft skills" are really "core skills". Being able to collaborate effectively and communicate clearly are paramount here.

Yes. We have all that good stuff. The founding team will get appropriately large equity grants, and we will help make sure you understand what they mean and how they work.

Location

East Bay + remote friendly.

Post pandemic, our office will be located in either Berkeley or Oakland, near BART. Sesh is an early stage company, so we value the magic of all being in the same place at the same time, but we're also open to remote work.
