Our Hiring Philosophy

Candidates First — Hiring is a two-way experience. We evaluate your skills and motivation, but we also want you to understand who we are and whether Finary is the right fit for you.

Speed With Purpose — We move fast but never at the expense of quality. We appreciate candidates who match that energy.

Motivation Above All — Beyond skills, motivation is the #1 trait we hire for. Highly motivated people learn faster, push boundaries, and elevate everyone around them. We strive for high talent density.

Our Recruitment Steps

1. Screening Interview With our Talent Acquisition team · 30-45 min · Video call

We validate core experience, role understanding, culture fit, and motivation. You'll discuss the scope and impact of your previous roles, your career goals, and what you can bring to the team.

3. Take-Home Case Study Reviewed by hiring manager + team member · ~7 days · At home

A practical exercise based on real Finary scenarios. We evaluate how you structure problems and turn insights into recommendations. It's also a chance for you to experience the kind of work the role involves.

Stand out: Clarify the problem, outline your thinking, focus on impact, and don't hesitate to ask questions.

4. Case Debrief & Structured Reasoning With hiring manager + team member · 60 min · Onsite

Walk us through your case, explain your approach, and answer follow-ups. The last 15 minutes include a Structured Reasoning exercise, a problem outside your expertise to assess how you think, not what you know. Nothing to prepare.
