Objective

• As we get closer to launch of MVP, we need to have tighter coordination, accountability, and ownership amongst our Design/Product/Engineering/QA teams to ensure a successful release

Initiative:

• Launch cross-functional teams called "Feature Pods" that own each of the main MVP features from design to deployment
  • Feature Pod will have a Design Coordinators, Product Coordinators, and Engineering Coordinators (we will also have a secondary lead for each team who can step in for the primary lead, if needed)
  • Coordinators will be the primary points of contact for that feature within their areas of expertise through MVP launch
  • Each feature pods will also have team members from Design/Product/Engineering that can join as needed or as available- it will be up the coordinators of each feature pod to determine if/when they need additional resources

Commitment as Feature Pod Coordinators:

• Own features for your area (i.e., Design, Eng, Product) until we launch MVP- become the subject matter expert on your feature
• Availability throughout the week to communicate with other Coordinators and team members on feature status and answer any questions
• Remove/address blockers for your team
• Raise or escalate issues/risks/help needed to larger team
• Be excited about your feature!
