This guide explain how I installed archlinux on my Framework laptop with encrypted root and swap partition and suspend-then-hibernate support.

Installation using archinstall

Download the arch iso, copy on an usb stick and boot from it.

Connect to the internet using wifi or ethernet.

• Select Archinstall language
• Select keyboard layout
• Select mirror region
• Select harddrives
• Select disk layout
• Set encryption password
• Select bootloader
• Use swap
• Specify hostname
• Set root password
• Specify user account
• Specify profile
• Select audio
• Select kernels
• Additional packages to install
