Hello Quantum World! We are Entropica Labs, a quantum computing software company based in Singapore, at the very centre of buzzing South-East Asia. Our vision is to generate a wave of scientific discoveries and technology innovation with quantum computing. To achieve that, our mission is to accelerate the arrival of useful large-scale quantum computers by building scalabel, efficient and intuitive software.

In May 2020, we have raised S$2.6 million in seed funding led by deep tech investor Elev8. Other investors include: The Singapore government-owned deep tech investor SGInnovate; Early-stage enterprise and deep tech venture capital firm Wavemaker Partners; The Japanese software enterprise group TIS Inc; And the talent investor Entrepreneur First.

We are now expanding our core team in Singapore. Join us if you wish to contribute to Entropica’s work and push the limits of what quantum computers can do. Our positions involve a combination of software engineering and applied research, so they can be adapted to each applicant’s skills and interests.

At Entropica, we are physicists, makers and problem solvers. We strive to create a culture where it is more important to get it right than being right. We organise weekly discussions to present ideas, share knowledge and stay updated with the latest results in quantum and classical computing.

We are looking for team members to work together on the most inspiring problems in quantum computing. Our ideal candidates are enthusiastic, highly motivated, quick learners with a passion for asking and answering unfathomable scientific questions.

Specifically, this is a blueprint of the list of soft skills we seek in people:

We currently have one open full-time technical job. We are currently not hiring technical interns because but we expect to resume in the coming months.

Permanent positions preferably require relocating to Singapore to work with our Team here. If relocation is a worry for you, you will be happy to know that we are open to remote work in exceptional cases or while logistical processes are being worked out.
