We’ve made this checklist to make sure you’re on top of your brand, admin and processes from week 1:

• [ ] Decide if you’re going to have a company name or just your own name
• [ ] Decide if you’re going to be a sole trader or a limited company
• [ ] Register as self-employed with HMRC or through the Earnr app
• [ ] Decide what your service or product is
• [ ] Set a rate for your service or price for your products
• [ ] Update your LinkedIn, and all your socials and business pages (decide what channels your going to get new business from)
• [ ] Set up a business bank account
• [ ] Set up a Google Drive for all you documents
• [ ] Have a dedicated workspace
• [ ] Created a portfolio or CV that shows experience
• [ ] Write out your business objectives in the long term, and work backwards towards what you can deliver in the short and medium term
