This Privacy Policy describes how eSpeed ("we", "our", or "the App") handles information when you use our iOS application. eSpeed is a real-time GPS speedometer designed for e-bike and cycling use.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. eSpeed is designed with a privacy-first approach — we do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.

Information We Access

Location Data

eSpeed requests access to your device's location services solely to calculate and display your real-time cycling speed. Specifically, the App uses:

• GPS coordinates — to compute your current speed in km/h
• Altitude — to display your current elevation (if enabled in settings)
• Course/Heading — to display your travel direction (if enabled in settings)
• Important details about location data:
• Location data is accessed only while the App is in the foreground (When In Use permission).
• Location data is processed entirely on your device. It is never transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party.
• Location data is not stored or logged. When you close the App, all location data is discarded.
• Session statistics (such as top speed) exist only in temporary memory and are lost when the App is closed.

### User Preferences

eSpeed stores your settings (such as speedometer dial range, display options, and start mode) locally on your device using iOS standard preferences (UserDefaults). These preferences:

• Are stored only on your device
• Are not transmitted anywhere
