Lots of marketers are still in denial about the effectiveness of digital tracking post iOS14. Even pre-iOS14 there were significant issues with incrementality. With the Recast blog we’re expanding out from pure Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) content to wider marketing measurement, as reflected in our Newsletter. We want to highlight all of the ways that tracking is broken, so marketers can avoid the worst issues and find actionable solutions.

We believe that the solution to broken tracking is using multiple methods, including MMM, as we highlighted in our article for Reforge. We’re positioning Recast as not just an MMM vendor, but a strategic measurement partner who can help you eliminate wasted ad spend. Once you realize all attribution methods are flawed, and you need multiple attribution methods to triangulate the true value of your ads, you are certain to need an MMM solution, of which Recast is the best in market.

Writer Profile:

We’re looking for analytics and attribution experts, who have at least 5 years experience with digital tracking or attribution methods other than Marketing Mix Modeling (we’ll continue to produce our MMM content in house, but get in touch with ideas).

Writers may represent a complementary vendor (i.e. not marketing mix modeling, but survey tools, analytics platforms, consultants and agencies, etc are perfect) which we will link to as a potential solution, or they may be looking to build their consulting practice / career profile. Ideally they already are writing on their own blog or company blog. Once marketers realize tracking is broken, ideally they’ll need both your services and Recasts, as natural complements.

Tell us your typical consulting or writing fee per hour, and we’ll pay that (within reason), based on the complexity and value of the topic. We’ll mutually agree on a length in advance of writing each post, and you’ll have a few weeks to turn it around for publication, with one round of edits. If you need to run an experiment, create a template, or do some analysis to provide supporting material for the post, we’ll also pay for your time on that.
