Duck Reaction is the story of two brothers, Simon and Matthieu, who want to create video games. They start by developing a small mobile game together (which has since disappeared, RIP), participate in game jams, and, eventually, officially launch their studio in January 2023. Since then, they have both been working part-time.

This summer, they released their first game, "Meaningless," a puzzle from a game jam, available on Steam and Itch. This game was selected for the indie section of the Tokyo Game Show and presented in Japan in September.

Fluffy Doki Sunshine is the current project of Duck Reaction, under development since October and available as a prototype on Steam.

Game Concept:

• Inspired by Katamari Damacy, Vampire Survivor, and Risk of Rain 2.
• The player controls a sheep equipped with a magical hat, leader of a flock fighting hordes of enemies.
• Defeating enemies earns experience to level up, unlock bonuses, and expand the flock in the manner of Vampire Survivor.
• The flock can adopt different formations (square, triangle, star) and execute commands (dash, jump, spin) to vary the strategies.
• The goal is to grow enough to explore the entire map and eventually "eat" planets, recalling the expansive gameplay of Katamari Damacy.
• Elite enemies wear hats offering special skills (sticky, explosive, anti-gravity). When defeated, the sheep collect the hats and gain new skills that are stackable like in the game Risk of Rain 2.
• All in a colorful, cute, and crazy universe.
